N.B. This table refers only to live GMOs approved under the 'Deliberate Release' Directive. Consequently Zeneca's tomato purée is not listed (as it is imported as a processed product in which the DNA and protein are non-functional) and does not include products of GMOs (such as enzymes). Products like this, that are not themselves live GMOs, are regulated under the Novel Foods Regulation.
